CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Board met with Harriet Stewart, the Town of Bennett’s code enforcement officer, to discuss the possibility of her taking on the duties of Deer Trail’s code enforcement officer.

1) Compilation of a drive-by list of violations with pictures
2) Violation letter allowing two weeks for compliance (sent to property owner, or if rental property, sent to renter)
4) Final warning letter (sent to renter and landlord)
5) Municipal court (possibly both renter and landlord)
The Board discussed agricultural properties and inoperable vehicles.
The new procedure will be explained in the Town’s monthly newsletter as well as posted at several locations.
Trustee Wood was excused at 7:31 p.m.
