Harriet explained her procedure at Bennett:

                1)             Compilation of a drive-by list of violations with pictures

    2)             Violation letter allowing two weeks for compliance (sent to property owner, or if rental property, sent to renter)

                3)             Reinspection

                4)             Final warning letter (sent to renter and landlord)

                5)             Municipal court (possibly both renter and landlord)

The Board discussed agricultural properties and inoperable vehicles.

The new procedure will be explained in the Town’s monthly newsletter as well as posted at several locations.

Trustee Wood was excused at 7:31 p.m.

A phone number and voice mail may be used specifically for code complaints, set up for use at Harriet’s home.

Animal control procedures were addressed.

Upon further review of insurance costs, telephone costs, etc., compensation will be discussed.
